THE LORD IS GOD FULL GOSPEL MINISTRY

Joshua 22:34

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: for it shall be a witness between us that the LORD is God.
.

TASK AND PURPOSE OF OUR MINISTRY

Based on the life of the early Church, particularly Acts 2:42 .” And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers”.  and Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, evenunto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 28:19-20 (New King James Version)

19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son     and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you       always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.[b]

 3. TO BUILD UP ITS MEMBERS-“ FOR THE PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS”)

Ephesians 4:12-16 (New King James Version)

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come    to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature  of  the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every   wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in   love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit   together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes  growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

 4. TO INSTRUCTS NEW CONVERTS

Matthew 28:19-20 (New King James Version)

19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son       and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you   always, even to the end of the age.” Amen .

 5. TO OBSERVE THE ORDINANCE

1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (New King James Version)

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed    took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat;[a] this is My body which is broken[b] for you; do      this in remembrance of Me.”

  6. TO SHOW THE COMPASSION OF CHRIST

1 John 3:16-17 (New King James Version)

16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the       brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him,     how    does the love of God abide in him?

  7. TO BASE ALL ITS DOCTRINE ON SCRIPTURE

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (New King James Version)

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for      instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
